Project Feasibility Report

Introduction

We specializes in formulation of a market oriented feasibility report for our clients. As you know that a feasibility report is the result of a detailed examination of a proposed idea, project or business to determine if it is likely to be successful. A feasibility study is done before an idea is approved or implemented and it should be an objective and rational assessment of the practicality of the proposed project. Therefore, we aim to make the analysis with an objective attitude, by using factual and impartial sources of information.

Proposal

A feasibility study will describe the products or services to be marketed. It shapes a model of how the business intends to make a profit. It describes the following:-

  • Types and quality of products
  • Timeline for preparation
  • Implementation
  • Time it will take to reach profitable production volumes
  • Its social, economic and environmental impact on surrounding communities

Market Segment

This portion will identify the market segments to be targeted and describes the scope / size of overall industry. It includes the following:-

  • Future Direction
  • Strength of the demand for the products and services
  • Demographics of the potential consumers
  • Goods dsitribution to the market
  • Market stability
  • New venture

Competition

It will outline a pricing strategy designed to attract customers from competitors and grow the sales of the company. It will define the major competitors, new venture and impediments to entry into the market.

Technical Considerations

It will identify the type, size and location of any production facilities. It will outline the necessary buildings, equipment, distribution areas and inventory requirements and storage. Discuss any technologies that will be employed. If required we will describe the needed access to raw materials and labor. Who will be the potential suppliers and where are they located? What is the availability of the necessary skills in the local labor market?

Oraganizational Setup

For any new project to achieve success, an efficient and lien organizational structure is designed. To manage and control its operations, marketing and sales. If required we will define the positions that will be required, and are these people available with the necessary skills to fill these positions.

Financial Projections

Any new proposed ideas or ventures usually have an objective of somehow making a profit. Projections of future sales, expenses, profits and cash flow are intended to impart some understanding of the possible results of the project. Financial considerations would always describe the initial capital requirements, working capital needs and availability of supplier credit. If required, we would also discuss possible alternative sources of funds, such as bank loans or venture capital partners.

Business Feasibility Report vs Business Plan

Please remember that a business feasibility report is not a business plan. A feasibility study is an investigative process that seeks to determine the viability of a business venture. It is conducted before a business plan is even considered. A business plan describes the steps needed to take a proposal from an idea to the reality of implementation after the decision has been made to go ahead with the project.
